Engineering Manager

Jenesh Napit

Hi! I'm a Software Engineering Manager based in New York City.
I enjoy solving technical problems, managing teams and launching products.

About me

My professional journey in the Software Engineering world started in the height of the 2020 pandemic and I've been working remotely ever since.

Since starting I've been fortunate enough to have been promoted all the way to a Senior Software Engineer and then in July 2023 officially becoming an Engineering Manager.

Now that I'm a manager I'm responsible for the growth and development of my team members and making sure my team is shipping great products and features.

Through this blog I want to share my mistakes and learnings from both a Software Engineer and a Engineer Manager perspective. I hope you enjoy reading my blog posts and if you have any questions or feedback please feel free to reach out to me.

You can expect my posts to be my own genuine throughts (No AI generated spam content ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ). I will try to bring a unique dual perspective from a Software Engineer's lens and from a Engineering Manager lens. To keep things fresh my goal is to have a mix of technical and non-technical topics.
